About Jacques Zolty

It began
with a fragrance.

Jacques Zolty discovered St. Barth in the 1980s on assignment for a photo shoot. He never left.

A fashion photographer who had worked with Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon, Patrick Demarchelier and Peter Lindbergh, he found in the island something he had not found anywhere else: a quiet luxury, a private elegance, a freedom that did not need to be announced.

Inspired by the colours, the air, the natural scents of his new home, Jacques created a personal fragrance. Friends asked for it. Then collectors. Then the world.

The brand was born from that scent.

From scent
to a way of dressing.

Building on the success of the fragrances, a group of entrepreneurs acquired the brand and undertook a careful expansion: extending the same Caribbean DNA into a coherent ready-to-wear collection.

The creative direction did not change. The codes did not change. What changed was the form: from the bottle to the wardrobe, from a scent on the skin to garments that travel with the wearer through the day.

Lightness. Naturals. Simple chic. The same three principles that defined the fragrance now define the linen shirts of Portugal, the silk pieces of Italy, the handcrafted leather bags of traditional pelletteria.

The brand is structured, the team is dedicated, the codes are protected. Jacques Zolty is no longer one man's intuition — it is a coherent house with a clear vision and a long horizon.

The brand was born from that scent.

An island
like no other.

St. Barth is small, discreet, and difficult to reach.
That is exactly why those who love it return.

It is a place where privacy is a value and elegance is understated. Where luxury speaks in whispers and time moves at the pace of the sea.

Despite four decades of transformation, the island has kept its free spirit — a meeting point of carefree lifestyle, French chic and Caribbean light, where understated elegance and a certain je ne sais quoi blend the highest quality with the simplest pleasures.

Without any noise.
