In every existence on our Earth, sun and shadow represent divine harmony. What a pleasure it is to leave the scorching rays of the sun for a moment and take refuge in the thirst-quenching shade, while at the slightest shudder the rays of the king-star come cruelly to strike at our imaginative desires. In my incessant travels around the world, I always carry my faithful and complicit hammock that regulates the temperature of my days. Sometimes on an endless coast where the Caribbean Sea flirts with the sand, sometimes in Havana, a mythical city, flayed to the bone with its languid shadows, daughters of the dying sun.
